Sat Nav and DVD?

Hi All,

Just bought a runout Honda Accord Euro with sat nav. I was wondering if anyone is using the sat nav screen as a dvd player AND if it can be done? I have searched the forums but can not seem to find anything.

There is an Auxillary, could this be used to watch dvd's off the sat nav screen?

I don't have the car yet, just paid my deposit. The salesman said you can't play DVD's but I was wondering if anyone out there managed to get it working using the auxillary or with a mod of some sort?

Did you get the new model accord euro? It may be possible to play DVDs with audio but it probably would require software to play DVD movies. Make sure you have the dealer answer all your questions. You are paying them good money.

Looks alright but i don't have nav so i'm not the best person to ask.Send them a few emails even ask some dumb questions and see how they respond.

the audio installer at jb-hi advised me to install a dvd player under my passenger seat and said it can easily connect to the aux on the nav!
