Any other 2L auto drivers getting similar results?

    Fuel economy

FD1, 2500km done already. Last fillup, regular unleaded. 535Km for 38.5 litres, 7.2 L / 100km. This was on a 6 hour freeway trip. The fuel economy is slowly coming down as the engine runs in.

Didn't you mean to say that the fuel economy is going up not down? i.e. getting better.

It's obvious what I was saying. Something doesn't need to go up to get better, i.e the price of fuel.

So you are saying that your car's fuel economy gets worse as it runs in? I was told the opposite would happen.

No, it gets better. It gets better by going down. We're comparing fuel economies in L/100km. The lower the better.

I think when syl3ns say "The fuel economy is slowly coming down", he means that the 7.2L/100kms is gradually "going down" to like 7L/100kms. ^_^

And triode12 thought the sentence sounds like the fuel economy is getting crappier.
