Car's an auto, so no specific km, but usually changes when it hits 3000rpm.

My usual fill up is about 40L with 300km

wow 300kms that is so crap. 13.3ltrs/100 thats like a commowhore almost! obviosuly if you are concerned with fuel consumption you would have bought a 7 step honda jazz or at least a manual civic. but yeah i can understand how you would be upset being under the impression you should be getting better expecially when comparing your consumption to some others on here. it all comes down to your driving style. try taking your foot off the accelerator when braking. or release the brake when driving (many older asian ladies in my area do that one) also avoid drag racing everyone at the lights. take the BBQ out of your boot (extra weight doesnt help). accelerate slower than everyone around you ALL of the time. do not come to a sudden stop, slow down earlier even if cars pass you. this gives you the opportunity to keep the car rolling, reducing the fuel consumption during your next acceleration. turn the AC off as much as possible, but keep the fan going on low so the vents dont start to smell.
