yes. i hate the fact that they turn off recirculation on its own.
i dun want exhaust fume damnit.
Mine used to do that when I first bought the car. It would do it once each time I drove, so I would switch it back to recirculate. But after the first 3-5 months, it stopped doing that. Wonder if I broke something.
on mine as well... especially when you start the A/C and put it on low (not auto CC) then it smells like exhaust dump!!! I need to leave it on auto for a while (which gives me full on when I set 'Lo' eventhough is 10 degree outside).

Set your CC to recirculate and you won't get the exhaust smell. And Lo means super cold which will set it to max no matter what. I have tested at -1 ºC and Lo will still blow cold air at max fan!
Although a driver could switch to recirculation mode manually, the driver may forget to switch back to outside air mode. By remaining in the recirculation mode, the windows could fog or the carbon dioxide level could increase resulting in a decrease in the oxygen level. Fogged windows and/or a decreased oxygen level in the cabin could compromise the safety of the driver and his or her passengers.
It's not an issue, many vehicles turns off recirculation mode after a while for safety reasons.
Tends to make you feel sleepy usually.
Better to have it and not need it, than need it and not have it.
I was thinking that it would cost me about 200 for the cc.. and around 300 - 500 for installation.. so all up it would be only 500 - 700 bux.. I drove my cousins sportivo.. and used that cc.. and it just feels so much better than the old air conditioning..

aarong, i always have them on... T-T anyway, its not a biggie anyway... still loving the A/C better than some other old car...
