painter has experimented with 2 pac and acrylic

acrylic looks better as the 2 pac looks to matt, although a buff an polish may make it shiny day in and day our will make the matt look abit crap i think

gna go with acrylic satin black if i decide to do this, im waiting for a sunny day to look at how it looks in the sun as the petrol door looks good all wet and stuff har har!

thats satin black, ive looked at the 3 blacks i like at it comes too

satin black, matte black and SATIN BLACK PEARL < this is sex although gna cost me to much LOL

basically the difference between mat and satin is that mat is very dull, not shiny at all where satin is shiny but doesnt reflect!

    heres satin black pearl

yeah but you can't leave dirt on it for prolonged periods coz you won't be putting clear coat on it.. it'll start corroding quicker.

my rims kinda look dirt now coz i kept neglecting to wash off dirt and brake dust.

Good stuff.. i should've experimented on that too!

however post#99 is correct, the fuel cap would've been consistent but when you do the bonnet, the streaks are almost inescapable unless you do it really far because it dries so quick, the texture on the bonnet changes as it dries, but because the fuel cap is small you would've painted the whole thing before it dried.

I ended up doing mine again, made it worse... the cheap enamel undercaot i did was a bastard of a thing, it turns into chalkboard/milky shit regardless. I sanded the whole thing back down and resprayed acrylic over it. tried to level it by sanding it back down then i hit the enamel undercoat on some parts.

over it now looks ****ed, should've left to what i had in the pics in the previous page just gonna get it done properly

yeh, although mine will be done via a spray gun not a can. If you were using a car, suggest that you go to a hip hop store which sell different type of can heads that graffiti artist use, buy the wide spread ones ive got a few which i use for home jobs on small stuff.

did the streaks look bad in the sun?

maybe add another coat and buff and polish it to get swirl marks instead of straight streaks LOL
