Yes there are elements of truth to this statement...........but pity the buyer!! i don't think so!

I have previously worked in the trade for over 10 years, and I got out because I'd had it with consumers.

If you think sales guys enjoy working an average sixty hours a week sometimes usually having to eat a cold lunch for an average of $50 to $100 a car, you are joking! What about the poor bloke that does all the hard work, essentially sells the car, does the test drive spends a lot of time initially with a customer only to have that same customer purchase a car elsewhere to save a couple of hundred bucks! it is a joke!

There is a saying in the trade "buyers are liars" and I am living proof there is certainly an element of truth to it.

Don't get me wrong, there were a lot of pleasurable customers to deal with, but the majority of car buyers play much worse games than the dealers!
