im looking at purchasing an ep3, wanted to ask for afew opinions of ep3 owners or people that might know abit about ep3's.

are there common issues about ep3's i should look into upon inspections? mechanical, body?

as for aftermarket parts, are the dc5r parts basically the same or similar (exhuast/suspension/intakes)?

are the cars any good? pros/cons? would you recommend people to purchase the ep3 over the dc5r?

is the depreciation rate of the ep3 higher than the dc5r?

and lastly what did you guys pay for your ep3's so i can have some sorta indication to what price i should be paying.

nothing major, just the same for all used car.

those things you mentioned are not identical with DC5R. mods that are common to K20 will be pretty similar.

EP3 is jdm spec while our dc5r isn't. which means ep3 has more power, bigger wheels etc.

the major con on ep3 would be the fact that it's an import with all issues common to all imports being insurance and parts etc.

02 ep3 can be bought for aound 25k while facelifted (04 on) would usually be over 30k.

Its different for everyone. You need to find out for yourself. Just call them, shannons, just cars etc.....

My quotes ranged from $800-$1300.

i dunno how big the boot of Dc5 so i can't comment but EP3's boot is bigger than jazz and about the same as Golf.

ps. spoted a nice blue DC5S yesterday around Sunnybank at 5:45pm, was it you Tofu?
