i wanna do it mine, but thinking about using red vinyl.. would the ' megapoxy' adhesive still work or would their be specific types of adhesive for vinyl ?
anyone got any experience on products they used
thanks, megapoxy is to stick the arm rest back onto the door trim, i put the blobs like in the picture incase i need to take the trim off again, so i can just saw into the blobs. but yeh there are alternatives to megapoxy for sticking the armrest back on.

maxibond was wat i used to stick the fabric on the armrest, it will stick vinyl on, but because vinyl is generally quite thick and solid i think it wont mould to the armrest very well. any fabric will work as long as it is easily moudable.
    otherwise there will be flaws.

Awsome DIY, this method worked like a charm. Only thing i did different was screw the arm rest back in instead of using megapoxy. to simonnowis
