    Lowering Ideas

    Guys..
i have a 2006 Fd Civic vti-l (black) rollin on a set of 18" Verde Kaos chrome.
now i want to lower it about an inch, max an inch and a half just so i dont have trouble with wheel rubbing etc..

    Now..
i dont really want king springs, to stiff, and im not really after the whole performance handling factor, more a "look good" factor..

i've been quoted from pedders $500 for a full setup.
now thats right on my budget...

so if anybody has done this to an FD, please hit me up and give me some advice on price, and place who does it..
oh... im in the sydney area too... so nothing interstate.. lol
    ill definately appreciate it..

    cheers guys...

    I have a 08 VTI as well

I imported Tein H-tech springs which cost $350 for US. Drop is about 1 finger gap and ride is same as stock.

If your game to fit it then it cheaper, but I opted for Wholesale suspension to fit it for $200 which included f & r alignment. Other might be cheaper.

When you say "drop is about 1 finger gap" do you mean exactly that? like the width of a finger? or you mean one finger gap from top of the tyre to the guard?

Yep, drop is about a width of a finger (less than an inch) I posted a pic of my car on the other thread.

You should attend the FD meet next week so you can see first hand what other people did before you do your purchase.

What about Tein S-Tech? Not too stiff and rides well.
