DVD player for the S2000?

Hey people, anyone know if its possible to have the tape deck removed on the s2k and replaced with a dvd player? i dont think you could but maybe its possible with some brands? See i dont want to put a screen on the dash. cheers

you can fit any dvd player with a fold-out screen

hmm i thiought there isnt enough room for it to open the screen up, does the original 6 stacker work with a new head unit?

ohh so its like the integra setup.. you cant put it in a lower DIN space sooo i dont see any way of fitting a screen WITHOUT some customising.

at my work i knoe for a fact that the only dvd screen we've been able to fit in an s2000 is the JVC KD-AVX 11 or the 33 or the 44. Though kenwood have brought out a headunit which is pretty much identical to the 33. No single din flip out will fit.

want a screen in your car? sell the s2k and buy something that you can fit a screen to...

there is no way without a big $$$ custom job to get a screen in there, the other problem you will find is that your shifter will start slamming into the screen...

you can put a screen in there iv seen it done the gap behind the dash is empty you can just cut in a 1 din and it will fit fine you will also need to the make a bracket from behind to hold it im trying to find a pic that i can show you how ppl have done it but no luck yet

its not full custom that car is just really tricked out but i have seen lots of s2ks with that setup its only beacuse the dash has nothing behind there, beacuse in the jdm vertion there was a gps there ill try and get a photo up close if i see one its funny i havent seen many online but iv seen around 4-5 on carsales in the the past year with that setup
