Definitely not your intake, I have an injen CAI no problem... I then had a cat back toda exhaust put on.. it was raining the day it was installed... I drove home not problem, drove to the shops later that night and it felt like the exhaust hit the floor of the car and was vibrating the drivers seat (but no lose in power)... happened again once more and never again since.

I put it down to the exhaust settling in.

but if you think about it.. the exhaust flows one way only.. so i think its the intake cuz exhaust couldn’t have possibly make the engine jerky.. and lost of power.. would it be possible that the exhaust has made the CAI sucks harder and therefore sucks water into the engine?? anywayz i will let you guys know of the outcome.

I'm still struggling to see how a cat back is going to make the intake "suck harder".

Have you got OEM or aftermarket headers? I know that with the AUDM DC5R headers, the cat is set to a differant angle to the JDM headers... so JDM cat backs don't mate up to the AUDM cat correctly... and you get an exhuast leak... I never had vibrations before putting my JDM headers on.

AUDM Type S has differant headers to the AUDM Type R... so not sure if this is a problem.

i think its the aftermarket exhaust butting up to stock cat and stock headers. Because the way i see it after looking at this and the other thread is everyone that has a aftermarket exhaust installed is having this problem BUT everyone else that has the aftermarket headers + cat + exhaust they dont have it. Please correct me if im wrong if u have aftermarket headers + cat + exhaust and are getting the problem

Have you got CAI installed?? if yes then get the HydroShield.. I no longer have this problem.. but i have also replaced my headers..
