    half the ppl say it can do done without spacers, and the other half say you need spacers!!
    I took wheels directly off my DC5 and put them on a DC2 right next to it and the inside of the spoke hit the calipers. I fail to see how it can clear without spacers. It's close, very close. But it does touch slightly.

    man, i really need to know for sure...becos im just about to do a 5 lug from ek9 onto my em1, and i want to put a set of dc5 wheels.if they dont fit, what a waste of time

    cas i heard some news saying spacer can be illegal and dangerous.....someone had an accident before i think......i forgot which forum i saw...but definately if u get a shit one....will casue u ur life

    spacers are bad because they leave less thread for you to bolt the nuts on

    unless you get hubcentric ones which come with new studs, but branded ones cost an arm and a leg.

    but all are illegal

    i did a ek9 5 lug on eg with dc5 wheels fitted no problems

    I've run 16mm spacers with longer studs on my car and there's no detriment whatsoever. It's when people put spacers on without longer studs or hubcentric bolt ons.

    People have accidents all the time and blame certain components of the car. Alot of the time they're covering their ass. Don't believe everything you read on the interwebs. People tell stories.

    no, ive got spacers on the fronts to clear brake caliper..... and souperman, I have exactly the same question......
