hey guys ! im going to track my car 2moro and 2night i was checking my oil levels (first time ive done it) sorry for newby question but how do u read the dip stick :S all it has is 2 holes and the rest of it is smooth so i cant tell where the oil is up to. sorry for newby question guys hehehehe

oil level should be in between the 2 holes. top/highest hole is max oil level, and the other hole is min. oil level. i find it hard to see the oil sometimes aswell due to lighting. if you cant see the oil, touch it?

ahhh ok den ill try touching it then. Im having the problem where i cant see where the oil is at aswell. My old car had the lil slits in it so u could tell that way but with the ep3 dipstick its just smooth :\

hey guys i topped up my engine oil 2day after tracking my car yesterday and because the dip stick is hard to read i went over the top hole and i think ive overfilled the engine a lil. Is it ok ?? will the excess just burn off ??
