removing one or two or any number of airbags will not affect the remainder of the system...
are you sure about that?
I've read on tsx.acurazine.com that you have to use a resistor to trick the car into thinking the airbags in the seats are still there. If you don't, apparently none of the airbags will work since they're designed to work as a system.

side airbags can be turn off if you lean on it too heavilly and the side airbag light on the dash will light up.... its not on the same system

im sure if you remove an airbag the SRS faulty light will come on to say that the system has a fault... and yes a resistor should fix that...
but theres no way honda would design a safety system like that that if in an accident one of the airbag lines was severed that the other 7 would not deploy... that would be extremely stupid...
What I meant is that its not a integrated airbag system that if the side is not working, the front does not work either.
Its independant as if the side malfunction, the front still works..
You sure? The side airbag warning is different to the airbag system warning light. Someone has to check which light comes on when you disconnect the side airbags (after disconnecting the battery of course)
I have installed a bucket seat on my EURO and the dealer said all airbags will not working. the airbag lights. The symbol is an airbag depolyed with a people sit on.
