    rear indicators defect?

    Do the rear indicators have 2 indicate amber for me 2 be legal?

    coz i got the amber bulbs in, but u can see em, thru the taillights (if that makes sense) but when i put the white bulbs in, u can't c em (which is good) but it indicates white instead of amber........

    help? cheerz

    ive seen heaps of cars with all sorts of coloured indicators.

    ive got a friend who has blue ones and he said he has never had any trouble. But im assuming you're not allowed to though.

    Yeah, you'll get defected, indicators front and rear need to be orange/amber.
    Brake lights need to be red, reverse lights need to be white.
    White indicating lights would be defected quite easily I'd say, they need to differentiate from brake + reverse lights.

    Solution to your problems, phillips chrome amber indicator bulbs
    They're completely chrome but flash amber.
    Available from Autobarn for genuine phillips, or cheap from Ebay.

    Word of warning, the phillips ones can be quite expensive (think $40+ for a single pair).
    The ones on ebay go for <$20 shipped if I remember right.
