welcome to the "cult".. glad to hear you're enjoying the new ride.. must've been tough letting go of the Golf though.

Lowered mine on the KW v2 coilovers just recently. You won't need to go lower than 1.5". PM for pics

    wow omg hectic.

dude good buy, and sure if u couldnt afford the running costs of the R32 then u have made the right choice. heaps of people look at the price of a car, then dont realise that there are heaps of other costs associated with different types of cars, so i respect your decision to down? grade to something almost as good, with its better and worse points.

however i wouldnt really call an R32 Golf a top of the line european car.. its a golf.

yeh thanks, haha yeh its the top of the line golf! its as good as...

Yeh i was gonna get a civic sport like yourself but i wanted abit more power so i went for the type r.

considered the Golf GTI, but i've never really considered owning a turbo...more of a N/a person. The type R was exactly what i was looking for.

I've converted to honda, I will only consider an S2000 or next generation Civic type R for my next car haha

my mate just got a new one in DSG, and we took on a modified new STI, absolutely chopped it! DSG and launch control and AWD absolutely do wonders, but at the end of that day, manual would still own!

yeah civic sport u have to wring its guts out to get anything mildly decent

and we just got a turbo A4 and the lag is gay, give me N/A anyday as well

    wow..mate
sounds good u have fun with it.
I m currently driving and MK1 TT quattro. It's pretty much the same as R32.
just the R32 with V6 NA, they both with same chasis. same suspension setup.
recently been thinking getting something newer and less running cost.
Seems Type R should be a good choice.

should go for a test drive with the R
