[CU2] Euro 09 Series air filter

Do you know if there is a Knn or another after market air filter for this yet? I can't seem to find one.

since there is no jdm cu2 for now, aftermarket parts from jap manufacturers probably will be a while. I'd imagine K&N are probably working on something though.

Can't tell if you are being serious or facetious......

In all seriousness now, just how hard would it be to make your own filter for inside air..??! Surely you can simply buy squares/lengths/metres of filter paper...? Can you..?

Personally I wouldn't like to play around with making an engine air filter, but for an internal cleaner surely regular filter paper would suffice in enough length x width and then pleat..?

If the filters were only $20 to replace then you really wouldn't bother, but at $80 or even $50 from Repco, surely a couple of bux of filter paper and an hour of your spare time is worth saving the cost of half a tank of juice (well.. half now that oil prices are low, anyway..!)

Specially when there are a couple of cars in the family and you can make a couple at a time, doubling your savings.

Anyone know where to get filter paper from...?

(EDIT.... is there any problem in posting links to the board - have found the filter for $35.55 posted to WA

Cabin filter paper is very easy to improvise. Like you've said, just some filter paper, cut to side, and mounting tapes will do the trick. Material wont cost more than 10 bucks. And you can do one in less than 30mins.

Could the issue be sealing at the edges?
