hi all, I too will soon hunting for my CU2 (trade in my Civic Sports for it). If I say, I need the new car fast, will this helps in bargaining? or should I play the "you (dealer) need to get rid of your floor stock, so you need me more than I need you" game?

I wouldn't act desperate if that's what you mean.
But make sure they know you're serious though.
Do your homework before you go in.

nah Type R... i mean I acted the oposite to desperate... act "not really interested on buying the one they have, coz I get better deal somewhere else but since I bought my civic from them so I think I give them a chance" LOL

you live in sydney, so play dealer against dealer and never take first offer, think about second offer but try for better.

New. I would say all stock in Australia will be '08.

Ex demo could be a bargain. Sometimes they load them with extras to offload them.

yes.Bargain hard on floor stock as it's all 08 even harder on a demo as they usually have had a hard life(read,been flogged by customers).No 09 stock in the country yet .you should start to see 09s approx.late March.Be carefull as the 1st.ones that come through are built 08 complianced 09.

ya, I dont need 09 stock as it 99.99% the same anyway (hopefuly not like the civic sports!!!) Also, I might start looking next month, do u guys think there will be more promotion?
