AEM and Injen Make some really good intakes both short and long. With the short CAI its more prone to take in more of the heat generated from the motor which makes it at times laggy.
The long CAI are good, taking in cooler air, but depending on where its is located could get really dirty espesh on rainy days.
I suggest if your going to get either of them dont have them exposed and have them covered with a some sort of sheild and have an intake tube like a Mugen type intake setup.
I only say this because it makes it legal, wont take in heat generated from the motor and i generally it works better.

SRI = Engine heat, doesnt have as much potential. Only less restrictive.
CAI = Colder air, so long as you have your front splash tray, you wont pick up any shit. More potential. More hassles to install or replace.
SRI is generally cheaper than CAI.
SRI, have different version that are for ABS and non ABS models.

that is also NON DEFECTABLE as ur filter is in an enclosed box.. and ud realy get more power out of it than 1 of them shitty SRI intakes u see every1 has that suck in terribly hot heat from there engine bays...
oh so i need to box it 2?, i was told its okay if it isnt a oil based pod.
question: wats gsr integra, is that the vtec one?

GSR is the american version of VTI-R.
Branded under acura.
No difference really. LHD, b18c1 instead of c2. Still a dc2 chassis.

GSR = VTIR
DC:51:VE is suggesting to use your Oem intake arm and filter box. Hes suggesting to get rid of your resonator box under your right mud guard and running a flex pipe from the bottom of your filter box to the front of your bumper.
Deano.

definitely cai > sri.
i have tried many sri's, and make many cai's, and nothing compares to my current set up.
i recently bought a fujita intake, and i love it. i paid the money for it, and now i got it, i wouldnt buy anything else.
