are you still getting ur type of lip in though?

lol spoon calipers... dont we all wish we could afford that

well even if you get a nice set of rims and good tyres its still 2k+
with our ep3 rims which is good enough and shitty stock brakes i rather upgrade the brakes than rims and tyres

but really theres no need to upgrade brakes, not gonna be tracking it and tbh for road use im not too fussed about the brakes.

Regardless if used for track or not i'd invest in some decent brakes as they are the ONLY thing allowing you to stop. Although the stock brakes are fine for just road use as they are designed to do that IMO

Get decent tyres and you'll be good..

yeah.. i reckon stock brakes on my fd2 are fine.. dont experience any lag in the brakes or anything like that.. but then again its still basically new.. so maybe later when things start to go wrong i might invest in some new pads or something.. but for now id rather spend that money on a good set of rims + tyres prob.

haha nahh mate those arent mine. thats a pic from a DIY guide here on the forum =]. Was just showing ekdez what it looks like with a blue like that, but i believe he just used some normal caliper paint in 'blue'.. ive heard most ppl use VHT stuff, and others use duplicolour which is more expensive. =D.

Semi slicks + endless ccx pads = damn good braking.

Re painting brake calipers, would it slow down the cooling process and might affect braking as it might generate more heat than normal.
