But by then it would be already to late :P Most likely he bought a ek4 front cut and bolted it to a ek1 + swap the interior and then trys to sell it to someone like you for top dollar.

See i wondered about all this shit as well, but if he actually did that he did a fkn amazing job because it looks to me like an EK4 (not that i know anything) and he's selling it for 13 and a half. What should i look for to make sure its an EK4? Because ive only put down the deposit so far and dont wanu pay for a car that isnt what its supposed to be.

I went on google and had a look at the jdm ek4's one of them didn't have a sunroof so its ethier dodgy or its a imported one but im pretty sure he would of told you if it was imported should ring him up.

Yeh im pretty sure this guy got ripped off unless they did release a model without a sun roof, seems pretty stupid tho if they didn't to go to all that trouble to turn a cxi or something into a ek4 and not do the sunroof.

Could it be a imported one tho? i thought if Aussies had their own version it wasn't possible to import a foreign made one with the import laws.

Yeah see thats what i thought as well, because i remember the first thing he said was the car had 170HP, and that would mean it would be Japanese, but the car said VTiR so it had to be Australian, but i never said anything about it because i wasnt sure.

The car is modded right maybe he added the mods to the power figure he gave you, but idk looks dodgy to me. If it says vtir in the bay then its def a aussie one so unless he bolted a aussie front cut to a jdm ek4 shell lol idk... i wouldnt buy it but thats just me.

Nah dad checked the engine bay and everything no mods sept for extractors thats it. Hmm ill have to have a closer look when i see the next car, although somehow i doubt he's done that, because i know him personally and he's not the type of person to do it :S
