I think the mugen front looks better anyway.

btw:- re: Carmate. I'd stay away from them. I've seen 20 odd complaints about them on various forums. They sound well dodgey.

I don't think it's new, I think it's just the side airbag/trip computer option that was always a $1000 option on the regular GLi

all the brochures ive read say its still got "magic seats", and i mean it always was the jazz's big selling point was its awesome seats.. so i doubt they got rid of it.. enless of course they did just so they can reuse parts on the new honda city

Depends what you mean by flat. They do fold right down almost flat, and the weight of whatever you put there will make it flat.

The only cars that have a truly flat floor require you to fold the seat cushion forward to achieve this (eg Mitsubishi Colt, most wagons). The Jazz drops the seat cushion towards the floor so you can achieve almost the same thing with a single one hand movement. This is made possible by putting the fuel tank under the front seats, thus leaving space for the seat cushion to drop into. It's very quick and easy to use. In the GE you don't even need to remove the headrests first.

It's a lot better than the Mazda 2 that leaves you with a step in the floor, or the Toyota Yaris that has a gap.
