    L15 Sparkplugs Change

    Anyone know where i can find a guide for changing the spark plugs in a L15 engine? Its very cramped in there and wondering what i can unplug and what i shouldn't touch.

    nice write up claymore. i need to do this also.

    so the stock plug is an NGK: part number IZFR6K13


    is this a iridium plug? where is the cheapest place to get it?

    I suggest you go for Hot wires from SUN Auto, so many reviews from optionfans about it.

    oh wait, just checked the service manual more closely, the 1.5 vtec model only needs the sparks to be replaced every 100,000km, i can wait a lil longer.

    I got NGK platnium ones for $25 from supercheap but the also had platinum/iridium ones for $83 or $63 dont remember..

    by changing spark plugs for jazz you feel nothing.

    waste of $ better spend $ on hot wires and Hot Inazma.

    gmonkey - the ngk iridium was $25 for all 4 ? or each?

    kongfu - some ppl change plugs because they are required in the service schedule.

    You can't use that on direct ignition engines like the L15.

    sorry wasnt NGK just looked was bosch and yeh all 4 platniums were $25, iridiums were $63

    and yeh im just changing plugs cause im reaching 100k kms so about time..

    trust me, you can, as I did put my hotwires on. I am trying to find the manual for hotwires, once I find it, I will scan and upload here. You could call up TOP ONE mechanic Dedy, who did the installation and take it off for me, ask him about if it is true or not.
