    you buy performance cars and fuel economy is a major concern???

    re mods, spend around $1k for a ECU reflash and you get 40ps & 50nm (at fly). $1k can't even get you a Gruppe M CAI for EP3 at the current exchange rate....

    service cost might be more expensive but interval is longer (15000 km vs 10000km).

    anyway the mk5 GTI might be over your budget by around $5k but it's a great car. not saying EP3 isn't great. as i said i love both for different reasons.
    GD3 -> EP3 -> RB3

    FS Rays nuts etc

    cf bling man. that's the price you have to pay

    anyway Super Taikyu DC5R runs the stock airbox (possibably due to the rules) so i guess it's good enough for me. i just can't justify spending so much for minimal gain. although i must admit the sound is awesome.

    And yes, thats on the dyno!
    yeah true i did hear that there isnt much difference with the 2 but in the end its about personal preference depends on what you want really i want the gruppeM full stop. lol thats just me i had a cai in the past so this is a change also with refrences to dynos and such for gains and no gains its hard to compare also unless its been dynoed within the day short periord because remember that every dyno is different every day is different taking into account the outside temp, oils, tyre pressures, tyre tread left so on so on but yeah if i were you wait up and get a gruppeM *to EP3EVA *

    thats my 2 cents on it
