if you plan to keep the car isnt to bad
problem with resale is that you get two types of buyers
people on budget who are prepared to pay 5-7k
and dont care bout prevous damage ks etc

and others who will pay over 10k but wont touch if cars got high ks
or on revs even if cars never been damaged
