[URGENT] Threads on distasteful topics in the Lounge. Please vote your opinion

chances are the reason these threads had so many views is that you kept refreshing the page

In my opinion... how about we keep the forum clean enough so that anyones 17yo sister can read all threads without wondering if all honda drivers are perverts, deviates or drug users (by all means keep the PG15 hot chicks thread it seems to keep you boys amused) but dont go to the gutter level, it just isnt needed.

The reason the threads are important to me is becuase i was the OP in some of them/most of them and when a thread i started is closed its disspaointing cause everyone was having so much fun in them!

If the content of the thread can end up putting members in jail or being fined if the authorities read it, then it is not allowed. (i.e. drug usage, street racing, underage pron)

If the content of the thread is offensive to other members and they report it, then it will be evaluated and a decision will be made whether to delete the thread. (i.e. brothel, sexual aggression)

That doesn't sound any different to the way the forum is ran at the moment.

I think there should be some freedom of speech, but lets keep it kind of clean, we should be proud to have a cool place where we can come and hang out, not make it a playground for really stupid posts that probably make the rest of the car forums think we are just a bunch of dicks.

In my experiences OzHonda isn't held in high regard by most other forums anyway. But the people who hang out in the Lounge are a different breed. I like OzHonda for its relaxed attitude, which I haven't found on any other forum. Because I enjoy coming back to OzHonda I couldn't care less what other forums think.

Yes, we have not been strict in enforcing it though. And that has lead to the sharp influx of poor threads.

Hopefully it will bring back Ozhonda's reputation to being a noob-friendly Honda forum, and not a forum popular because of its lounge and lax attitude.

i search for old lounge threads all the time

ie. my 'post ur tees' thread which i just bumped up

same goes for other threads that haven't been bumepd up for a while.

yeh.........it would be a minor inconvenience sometimes

but advanced search allows u to search individual forums crxer......

maybe it would be good if we could select multiple forums to exclude/include in a search
