    A similair story -

My car is an automatic and my mate told me (friend of a friend),when I didn't know any better to launch the auto, put it into N,rev it up then drop it in D.

Now,I knew this didn't sound good...but man the auto is slow off the line so when I first went to the 1/4,I did this for the 10 runs I had.All good!

About a month later I hear a clunk, bang and pulled over to find the crank pulley sitting on the splashguard and 3 belts scattered around the engine!!

The keyway snapped in the crank pulley! and the crank pulley bolt obviously had come out!

The gap in the crank pulley where the keyway goes was bend out/larger.So we put another one in there with some stong glue to hold it and it worked! PHEW!!

    Won't do that again.
LMFAO do u own a prelude?? its like a factory defect that they fall off haha :P

    mine did too!!

a friend of mine had an s14. had a fair big trbo on it, was pretty quick. Anyway, one day he put a cheap no name brand pod filter on temporarily...not sure why. After a day of driving the smal centre piece of the pod broke and got sucked into the turbo, blowing the turbo... lesson learned, don't use $20 pods
