I thought spark plugs were built to be semi indestructible considering they have to handle all the heat and combustion!.. This sure changes my perspective on them..

I tried three different mobile mechanics.. they don't like doing this sorta stuff... but yeah hopefully Craig can help you out.

have rang and spoke to craig several times, said he would come to fix it but hasnt. seems he obviously does not need the work and has no interest.. does anyone know of any other thread specialist in the brisbane/ caboolture area? mobile mechanics dont wanna touch it. i cant seem to find any when i search?

Sorry mate. I only noticed a couple of days ago, Craig isn't the dude who helped me... I did try to call him and left a message and he never got back to me.

I found the business card of the guy who did help me:

    Danny Dowdle
    ProThreads
    P - 0402 106 388

Sorry about that, best of luck.

did you try an 'ezyout' or whatever they are called? they are like a reverse drill bit and you stick them in the snapped of thread and wind anticlockwise and it uncscrews the thread part that is stuck in the head!

i did the same thing about 6 months ago to my old d15 duel carby... overtightened the plug and it snapped off! i thought i was gonna have to take the head off but ran down to supercrap bought one and had it out in a few minutes... just gotta be careful bits of metal dont fall into your cylinder!
