    ok thanks... oh but looking at the connector on the intake the 2 pins are top to bottom, top pin ground or bottom pin??? sorry i should have explained myself more.... and what about that purge just leave it????

    the other spare plug u found is prob the purge plug,see if u can see what pin the red wire goes to at ecu end to confirm.

    not sure what obd2 will do with lack of purge solenoid hooked up,i assume it will CEL,but ecuman will know.

    ok well i have it connected like informed but the engine light is comming up.. i thought it might have stayed due to disconnecting it in the first place but so i reset the s300 error codes it still keeps popping up and now eld is appearing too,,, how can i test the iat to see where i could have gone wrong

    ok i have checked everything and i have found that the iat has shit itself.. theinside of the sensor has melted and the wires are showing and have burnt apart.. so now to find out where i can get one from....

    possibly from the full 12V it was getting from the purge plug,replacement iat should see u right.

    edit,just remembered it wasnt hooked up at all,ignore me,lol.
