The front is base adjustable hence the thrid ring at the bottom. Shouldn't really touch that!
The rings are meant to be tight for obvious reason
Ok so I'll try to rotate the top ring. Cause for the front he rotate the second and third so basically he adjusted the height by twisting the second ring so that is wrong?

By the sounds of it, the front has been raised by the base. Its fine but it'll still be softish due to the springs being expanded.
This is assuming that you're counting the rings from the top? Top down 1-2-3.
im so confused cause this other person has 3 thread in his one and the people were saying to unlock the bottom one and twist the whole coilover down?
Thanks
OK, I always count the two rings holding the spring 1 and 2. The third one at the bottom is for the base, not the spring. Up spec coil overs are not just spring height adjustable but also shock body adjustable to a greater range of adjustment. Without going too deep into it, its to do with setting height of the car without disturbing the spring tension/rate.
With yours, (being flex) its just the fronts which has this. What I'm saying is, your car have been lowered (heaps). And the springs should be tensioned relative to the height of the car. If it has been done, I would dwell on it too much, so long as its at your desired height.
As for the rear, like most medium level coilovers, are only height adjustable via spring. There fore there is only two rings. One to adjust the height and one to secure it (locking ring). Normally the bottom one acts a locking ring.
But since yours is down all at way, you can only go up. Twist the top one up and then follow it with the bottom one. To get 1 finger gap on the rear, adjust it so there is about 10-15mm of thread under the bottom ring.
See pic below. When adjusted, both lower and raises the height of shock....therefore car!
But Pic 1, adjusts the car via the spring height, therefore changing the spring tension and rebound ability etc.....Pic 2 adjusts the height of the car without changing spring characteristics.
ok ran into a bit of trouble. man im a newb.
so i got 2 c spanners one on 1. and another one on 2. so i tried twisting the bottom one(2.) anti clockwise and the top(1.) clockwise to try to unlock it but its like not even budging with wd40.
After a few attempts now when i try to turn it both 1. and 2. are moving at the same time. is this meant to happen or is it still locked?
