    When you modify the OEM rails, just make sure you don't cut away and weaken the seat belt buckle mount.

    You will need 2 plates that connects the left and right rail. I'd get this cut out of stainless steel to an appropriate gauge - lighter, thinner, and strong

    Use only high tensile bolts and stainless washers when bolting the items together...Its a seat, you don't want these parts breaking in the event of an accident.

    technically, you will need an engineer to certify the safety of what you've fab'ed
