200,000 km service
Just wanting to know what exactly needs to be done for a 200,000 km service. I'll do the regular oil change and such but wanna know what else is normally done. And where would be a good place to take my car to do it in Sydneys west

basically the 100k (timing belt + associated belts if need be) from memory, but keep in mind the mechanic may encounter a lot of items that may require replacement such as leaking water pump, gaskets, seals, ect.
If following the older servicing procedures at 180,000km most of the other fluids should have been replaced along with the fuel pump, if not you probably should look into it.
Why hello there

all that came up with mine was:
timing belt
waterpump
seals (cam and crank)
tensioner pulley (not needed but was with the kit I bought)
have spare money just in case, few hundred spare if you're not checking the vehicle monthly for faults

do radiator/coolant hoses as well if u can afford it
i always use a genuine honda/subaru mechanic for my 100k intervals

yea, the rear bushes might be shot, one of mine at 215000 was on the rear trailing arm, the rest all aover the vehicle are still ok, old, but not hardened up
also check the radiator for leaks, do a pressure test on it, mine failed on me around the 210000 mark, got a replica oem koyo one installed for a cheap price of $300 including new oem fluid
also, just was thinking about my expirence with the seals, on your next oil change, check below near where the cover is for the lower seal and see if there's any oil there trailing onto the sump, the one place I went to didn't seat one of them properly and caused a very minor leak is all, something to put out there

thanks for all the input... its gonna sound costly.... i'll do what i can myself to hopefully reduce costs.

don't do the timing yourself, hell it comes up maybe once in ownership of any vehicle you or anyone else will ever own, for the ammount of time/tools and knowledge needed it didn't add up for me as I'd only ever do it once ever, just my 2c

But its just a chance that the bushes need changing and they are expensive O-o"

Trailing arm bushes are a usual item, expect $400 from honda spare parts.. I got mine from nolathane for $155, just in case yours need doing.
