At ~28k on the road, that puts us in the same price range as Evo's up to an Evo 8, STi's (bug eye) any S15, and many other things. Hell, for the money you could buy TWO R32 GTRs.

Whats your point? Why don't you have a GTR? Why am I not driving around in a EVO 8? Why do people spend 20g's on an EG? Why did my mum but a Camry when she could have bought a STI for the same price?

Just remember that not so long ago, people paid nearly 50ks for a DC5S and 44k's for DC2R's........why when they could have bought a WRX or Holden V8 which are quicker for the same price?

hahaha not much to separate, the exhaust is gone and only got injen and mounts left so basically still stock spec

get some independent witness detail and call police to report hit and run.

try to get a name and address off police if u can then report to your insurance.

For me I wanted something thats not too old and not going to depreciate as much as those cars will; I believe that because our car is P plate friendly (and because its the only JDM car Australia will see apart from private imports), it'll hold its value close to what we pay now. The car also has a well set up chassis and is still built around the idea that good handling and a light curb weight make for a highly effective package on the twisties.

For me, I wanted to experience one of the best FWD's, master it, then move onto something else. But for others who value straight line speed, sure they can choose their turbocharged cars. It's all about handling for me and it really delivers.

There are times where I doubted the car when I first got it, seriously wondering whether I had made the wrong decision but the car (mainly because with no camber, any kind of cornering creates positive camber relative to the road and therefore I was getting lots of understeer). But now, getting it set up right, it's great.

All that said, you have to admit, 12k for a GTR in good condition is a ridiculous deal no matter what.

Someone from melbourne I got told. went to Kinglake, got too excited around the corner and didn't wee whats coming on the other lane and BANG, rolled off the cliff 3 times and finally hit the tree.

lucky for him there was a tree, otherwise the car and the driver will be gone....

yeah ads i sold it man i think the ep3 your talking about is the one on firesport looks like it rolled and hit a tree to me

heres my new car ads sorry to post in ep3 section but i am a ex member

still love the vtec and ep3 but yeah turbo has taken over!!
