that might have happened from the accident?
-
What other's have said about them over rides that pitchure. That could happen to any coilover and probably has.
-
i believe that pic was taken after a guy tracked his car at oran park and happened in the middle of a corner.

WHOA! Slow down sunshine! I didn't know there were 'rules' to Honda's??
Yup,I Love COMFORT.Would I sacrifice comfort for performance?
NEVER.
There is a happy medium for everybody I believe, the trick is finding it!

Beeza, i think you will find if your suspension is harder then stock, then within time you adjust to the feeling of your harder suspension and it feels as if it is normal.
Personally i would loose comfort for performance, but wouldn't loose comfort for looks.

That photo of the bent D2 is like all the Rota pics, we have no idea how it happened, why it happened, it's just a photo.
People suddenly make assumptions thinking that "they're cheap so they brake"
Also bear in mind, that photo was nearly 4 years ago, i'm sure they may have redesigned the coilover.
Try out ISC coilovers. They're apparently pretty good.

Thanks tmy!
I hear ya mate.
When I was driving only 100km's a week I might have sacrificed SOME comfort but now I'm doing 600+km's a week and NEED that comfort.I'm 34 now too,so if I was 18-24 it wouldn't worry me so much.

Very well said! Im sick of ppl posting up that pic everytime the word D2 comes up. If you have personal experiences then post them up if not s%^tup.

That pic you refer too is some guy in NZ tracking his car, theses coils are bang for buck to get low down not top dollar Zeil or Tein coils for the track.
Also by the looks of it these guys probably installed them themselves and done a bodge job, causing them to fail under extreme conditions.
I Vouch for them if u want to get low or if you are on a budget.

you're right, the bent coilover is the one from NZ. was thinking of the other pic where the mount snapped off. if u kno the story than u would kno it happened in a D1 round. i'm assuming anyone that enters D1 would know what they're doing and are more than capable of installing a set of coilovers.
to mr180sx: the OP asked for comments. i gave a comment and a picture. no need to take it so personally and rant about it
