Weren't there any witnesses/other cars around that could back your story up to the cops?

His Towball goes straight through my bumper and demolished my radiator, front bumper is goooonneee....the mugen lip is ok, small crack where it joins onto the bumper.
Worst roadrage incident i have ever experienced. Worst part is when my mum started calling the cops, because she was in the car he started getting all pissed off then he says 'If your going to call the police YOU HIT ME'....'I dont need to be nice..blah blah'

wow, damn. just out of curiosity what was he driving and what could have provoked him to have done this? had you been driving alongside him up till that point or were you already slowing for the light, then he did his thing?

sh*t!! sorry to hear...also curious of what car that is.
seriously, bloody towbar tongue and ball should be a serious defect when not in use. if they coppers can defect rear towhook, then this one is much MUCH WORSE!

Its just that in the real world most EP3 owners here would not reap those benefits as most of us are would be red light warriors at best.
I agree with Philip LEE, as he said.....
"I hate my light flywheel on my FL. Every change must be super quick or the revs will drop down too much. On a steep hill there is no chance not using the hand brake and needs to rev to like 3000 or it'll still roll backwards. Traffic jam is not fun!!
I tried my fd's pre FL and it's much better. Honestly I won't bother replacing the flywheel"
George, I do understand where you’re coming from,
But to be frank, I think your argument about the weight is flawed.
Rather than look at just the actual weight loss in the flywheel itself.
Look at the inertia of the thing & where it is in relation to the engine & wheels.
The inertia of the flywheel is something the engine must overcome before it does anything else.
Any reduction in flywheel inertia (weight) is multiplied through the gearbox. Hence the effect being greater in lower gears
Now speaking from experience, I can tell you that will notice the difference in an EP3.
Using one of our flywheels, the difference is a positive change in the character of the car without negative side effect.
What should also be mentioned is that on standard cars, flywheels like ours can’t cause situations such as described by Philip Lee.
Problems as described generally only arise when lightweight flywheels & other engine parts are combined with incorrectly set overrun fuel cut, TPS & poor tuning.
But then again, Mr Lee isn’t talking about an EP3 either, rather lightweight flywheels in general.
Anyway, before you all go off the deep end…
Please… Look at it realistically…
The EP3 is very similar to the DC5 & even the CL9 in the driver train.
Is the EP3 really so special that a flywheel & clutch that works like a charm in the DC5 & CL9, is just so mismatched to the EP3?
Bare in mind the benefit in the other cars is widely known & without drivability issues.
& just to question your manhood…
My wife drove a DC5 Type S for a number of years with a lightweight flywheel, in heavy traffic everyday without any of the issues described.
Weird huh…
Cheers

Personally I think that is a bad move. Honda's don't like non-genuine parts. I wouldn't be surprised if it came back.
wow and Twest that is rediculous. I still don't understand under any circumstance why he would reverse, what a lunatic. My heat goes out to the front of your EP3
