I see a lot of stuff on e-bay for the da6 90-93 but iv'e only read up on the da9.
    Thanks for any help.

P.s read the thread from start to finish and all the links, very helpfull. Thanks.
DA6 is the Japanese one which had B16A, this is on the chassis ID plaque that came on my halfcut, DA9 is Aus spec B18a, I now have both on my car, as after the conversion, mine is really a DA6

Most parts advertised as 90-93 should be fine, any doubts, post a link here and the brains trust will figure it out

hey runt, just a question, did you buy your car from a guy in penrith? and did it use to be that aqua green colour the LS' come in? if so i was looking at that exact car a while ago always loved the paint on it.

ohh guys with coils, stay away from D2's please, resist the cheap price tag, put in alittle more and get something with abit more quality. My mate bought D2's for his FD civic... it came missing bolts, c spanners, there was a seal missing on the coils, they replaced it of course... 4 months down the track the 'replaced' ones start leaking...

    Hey guys

i was wondering how easy is it to convert a auto into manual. ive got a b18c sitting at home with the DA setup.

can you tell me what steps are involved? is it more as easy as a quick swap but just wire the Vtec cable?

    Thanks

for it to be engine to be compatible with manual...u'll need gearbox, loom, ecu and if ur car is not orginally manual..u'll need...pedals, dash, clutch cable, gearbox glove, shift rods....i THINK thats it

Da6 have a different rear lower control arm. you'd need that to fit da6 coils.
