well...it's the satisfaction at the end when you finish it...
no offence but if you are sure what you are doing maybe you shouldnt do it
i understand when you DIY there is an element of satisfaction.
but you are talking about your sussy. the sussy hold your entire car.
there is a risk it all goes wrong when you drive.
assumedly you drive as a result of not installing it correctly and get into an accident. your insurance may not pay you if they know you do it as it is not done by license mechanic
if a mechanic do it, they have public liability insurance. i think they are covered
worse still if you injured someone you may be sued too
there is two areas that imho if you are not sure what you are doing to stay away from
brake system
suspension
i am sure there is other area that you can get satisfaction doing DIY
just my 2 cents. i am worried your satisfaction will become a regret. nothing worse that wishing you hasnt done it.
just use an allen key at the top and wrench at the bottom
another thing leo, how come my tanabe makes Springy noises up front when i turn?
i think it is spring movement. i have some noise in my coilover too in the past. i used to have tein and cusco.. but it is the sound of valves compressing etc... sounds like spring but its not spring.
but make sure you installed everything correctly and sometimes just require greasing... i might also not be spring but something else
