    Difference between APEXI VAFC and VAFC II?

    hey guys what the difference between the Apexi VAFC an the Apexi VAFC2?

    i know the VAFC II can withhold its memory, what else?

    i had the same question so i went and searched google. There is heaps on there regarding this mate

    Aren't they both a waste of time anyway? Just get an ECU

    well i bought the vafc2 and i only plan on doing bolt on mods which should be ideal with the vafc2 If my plans change i can always get a new ecu in the future

    Is it really that good? I thought it was just a piggy-back ECU that allowed you to change the VTEC changeover point?

    yeh thats basically it and some air flow stuff, its fairly basic but good enough for me atm

    Reckon you'll get much extra by using it in conjunction with I/H/E, than you would in comparison to I/H/E without the VAFC II?

    Well they're $400 +/- aren't they? For only a little more you could get a decent ECU I think

    i will have to wait and see i spose, i have time to experiment with different things atm I think i picked up mine for 300

    na mate havent had the car on the dyno yet, ive only had my EM1 like 3 months. More keen to get it on track then the dyno at this stage. Ill let you know anyways when I finally get it tuned in
