I am just worried that if I go like that for extended time, it's not good for the car. Cuz Ill be driving down to Melbourne with my wife.
Aparently the new replacement for RE-01R, the RE-11 is even better. But we cant get them in Australia. I think the Yokohama Neova AD08 has became the best street tire after the HKS Evo X did 0:59 at Tsukuba.

It will be fine, dc2r's rev much higher at 110kph.

it looks like you need more negative camber.
i wouldn't put all the fault on the tyres when alignment wasn't spot on.

My alignment was done at Heasman steering the day before the trackday, my camber was set at -2.5, this is the max you could go on stock Evo suspensions. I suppose it's more to do with Wakefiled being a small and tight circuit with a lot of turns, and Evos being a 1.5 tone car puts a lot stress on the tire when cornering. That being said, I still think the Adrenalines are a little over rated.

Yeh they came with the car when I bought it. They r a really soft compound cause i got only bout 10000 k's then they were down to the wear indicator. I got quoted $265 a corner from bridgestone a little while ago so $205 is pretty gud.

fair enough.
but at the end of the day, these are street tyres and not semis/slick what are built for the track/hard driving.
also did you look at tyre pressure?
ps. i have never used RE001 so i dun know but i'll be running some soon. will see how they go.

Perry, have you thought of using KU36's or Falken 615's, I rate these above the 001's and pricing is competitive. KU36's I got were $179 each fitted!

Type r engine is designed to rev high and spin faster. So thats why u'll find its sitting in that rpm range.
