Yer they are semi slicks.
Seats removed I think is a standard issue when you take a B16a EG to the drags lol

I think this guy even worked for Toda for a while PM Toda he will give you a 100% correct answer.

Can people only post up stuff if it is their own car? Saves wasting posts and debating about times etc. Plus nothing worse then someone saying "my mates mates mates car did a 8.7sec pass with a d16a"
If it is your car and you have specs and proof then post away.
So far Benny has the title me thinks.
I know Paul who used to own EGB16A back in the days
I was with him when he did that 13.6 pass.
One of the fastest allmotor b16a EG that I ever seen .

shit b16s are meant to be slow for what they are lol
what was the mph ? you know yonas

LOL 13.6 on a b16a NA... and the other guy has turbo b16 and cant even get a better time
NA > Turbo

Ok, so that 13.6sec its looking quite credible. That is shifting !!!!
Any idea on the engine specs Yonas??? Was he using full drag slicks?

For what they are?????? A 1.6L with the most hp per litre of any 1.6L production engine???
Extremely reliable (stock bottom end, who knows how many kms the engine has done, and i've done 2 years of racing, still 240psi comp on all cylinders), very cheap to maintain etc etc For what they are they seem pretty good to me, especially if when you look around you can pick one up for under 1k.
Depends what you consider fast and what you consider slow. 14's are deffinatly slow, thats why I said only post if its 13's or under. 13's are still slow but for a 1.6L its ok.
I'm embarrassed to say it but heck, my lightly modified B16a did a 14.1 over 1 year ago.
People just need to understand the B16a better, its strengths, its weaknesses (lack of torque etc), and once this is known you can use well thought out mods to improve on it and suppress its weaknesses.
A B16a in an lightened EG, coupled to a multi plate LSD, shorter gearing and well thought out chassis and engine mods is nothing to laugh at, wether it be at the drags or circuit.
People with B18's in EG's doing 14's shouldn't even bother posting their times up, what an embarrassment.

14s in a b16a powered eg is still pretty quick these days imo, like you said... "People with B18's in EG's doing 14's"
i would be happy with that!

Did you even bother to read my sig MikeyG?
Plus I use street tyres and that's a missive difference
Sometimes I think there should be an IQ test for this forum!!!

13.6 in the b16a is fast!... i think it was on slicks.
Its possible to get a b16a running into the 12's.

After taking my car to the drags and running a homo time of 14.1 with a very mildly modified B16a I would expect B18's to be running 13's minimum.
Maybe the people that struggle to do 13's WITH a B18 are the retarded ones.
And people that think 13's are quick are fooling themselves and need to wake up and go for a drive in a >12sec car.
13's are quick for a B16a, but in the whole scheme of drag times 13's arn't even looked at.
You use street tyres at the drags??? Well some semi slicks are still street legal and are technically street tyres. If you go to the drags without even semi slicks (which are still street tyres/Rcomps), well thats your choice, your only hurting your own times, no need to call people retards.
Why does this need to turn into a forum war/argument???The point of this thread???
All I want is to see what is the fastest B16a N/A registered EG civic in OZ.
That 13.6sec is quite impressive for a road registered EG Civic. Awesome
