Yeah I've driven a Euro with that exhaust and it drones quite badly when cruising or going uphill. The exhaust tips are also a bit too big for my liking.
I would consider the xForce VX-05. Reasonably priced and would have to be one of the best sounding mufflers for Honda's. The only downside is that they need a tip put on. You only get the muffler itself. If your willing to just use one and get a custom made cat back using the xForce as a mid-muffler and then just run straight pipes to the rear then its good. It will be noticably louder than standard though. Not annoying loud though. I think they are around $200ea from Felix.
lol serious? im gunna check my paperwork and read the fine print
i got my CU2 with the 5 years free warranty when the aussie dollar was reallll bad. i think they were a bit tight arsed about the conditions of the warranty tho. ill double check and before u know it ill have 2 fart cannons installed.
Update: I've changed the stock mufflers to OBX SP2 ones (Greddy SP2 copy) and it looks great and sounds very deep like a WRX. The raspiness is completely gone and there is very minimal boom in the cabin. It's slightly on the loud side imo but i expect it to quiet down a bit once the pipes get coated with carbon.
