An XR6 turbo will smoke you brah, Sure its got the name ford, and we all know how much honda fan boys hate them but take a look inside that engine bay and see how big the turbo they have from factory, that'll give you a good enough idea if you'll win or lose. When we went to willowbank my mates DC5R was only running round the 15sec range, best he got was 14.9, mods were intake and catback only. And yes i'd have to say he's just your average race boy so nothing pro at all.

I would put money on the Ford, unless he has a heart attack halfway down the strip... even though I am on the Holden bench lol... driving a Honda.. err..

My dad drove a recent model XR6T and those things fly apparently, he's got a Holden S but isn't afraid to admit when something is better.

Remember that a Falcon/Commodore only weigh about half a ton more, but the engine is also more than twice as powerful... stock.

13.5 with a good driver,

they're fast in a straight line, especially with basic mods, so damn easy to get power out of

Ive raced an XR6T before in my ep3 and my dc5

0-100km was pretty close after that its all over.

In my dc5 was a different story we only got to 100km though. And i was in the lead =)

Yeah but whats 100kms ? like 2nd gear going into 3rd ? try going in 4th, thats when most cars fall behind.
