this system is only as good as the people that use it. IF a user/s abuse it , the system isnt as effective.
If a user is found to be receiving rep for little or no reason the person who GAVE it will receive an infraction and possibly membership reversed.

As above. Plus you cannot consecutively rep the same person, the system will not alow it, you must share the points to others before reping the same again.

It only takes 2 seconds to give someone some PQ / rep...so while you're browsing if you see something helpful (technically) then click the little icon

like i said i have never sent pm's to friends asking for rep for good posts i've made but i know of people that have

and i'm not saying the rep was given for little to no reason for all i know there where good posts

but i knew something was going on because these people jumped up the amount of boxes they had in no time so i asked a friend what was going on and he told me

as for sharing the rep around if a friend was asking for rep for a post and you was inclined to give it then it wouldn't be hard to find another person to rep quickly before you gave to the friend again

and like i said i've never done this because when i found out about it i didn't feel it was right and besides if i had i'd have more than 2 boxes

the primary reason for this website's existence is to be an online honda community

market place is just meant to be a bonus to active community members

True but you go to hope that members your helping actually use the PQ system to rate your response. It seems many are too lazy to do so.

I think quite a few people think like this: They want to TAKE but not GIVE. This thought needs to be switched around. I've found quite often that people I've given Rep to have Repped me back soon after or even in the same thread.

While it's dine to do so , one shouldn't base the rep given out on that recieved. This way it spreads the rep around :-)
