Under high Rpm is when the valve opens and releases the pressure,dunno is squeezing it would make it go but if U blow into the valve it should work one way!

the proper way to test your PCV , is to CLAMP the rubber hose from the PCV while the engine idles.
If its fine working order it will CLICK CLICK or rattle as the engine idles. If no noise its likely clogged or failed so time to replace with a new one

Did ya try the blow test?

Well, I cleaned it well and gave it a nice blow afterwords. I didn't try the blow test though.

P.S. Oil level is fine, depends when I check it, it shows a different level.No oil has been consumed on closerinspection

When ever I take it for a v-tec session, it does, however, consume a bit of oil. As some b series can do.

Yeah so U should be able to blow one way and not the other if it's good!

Honda quoted me $55.75 today. I'll go OEM I suppose., I won't bother with the autobarns one but thanks for the post.
