s2k: Full sound system set up

here's my effort. ahaha please dont laugh guys.

I have the JVC AVX1 dvd player.
i got a pair of 6" JL audio speakers n a pair of splits.
got a Sony amp and a 12" soundstream.
lol now dont tease the screen. i know its pointless and lame but
they were in my old car in my sunvisors.
and as u kno the S2000 has tiny visor and they didn fit so i pulled it apart and put it to SOME sort of use.

now i kno its uneven because the amps twice the size of the screen but i still wanted my spare wheel.
and i relocated the tools to under my passenger seat.

why is there a fkn screen in the boot? do you put people in there

if you read what he posted then you would understand why he has a screen in the boot...

and i've done pretty much what he has done. except the screen
ive got the same boot setup with a alpine v12 AMP and JL w3 12" sub
alpine headunit and kicker speakers. Its nice, loud and not over the top

COZ ITS COOL i got speakers in my engine bay.. lol not everything has to have a purpose.

pointless money spent. Theres only so much you can have in a car. If i spent 7k on a sound system for a car i would expect everyone i know to kill me. You could of done so much more with that 7k.. TURBO!!! lol.

$7k for a cheap shit turbo to make it too quick for daily driving and POINTLESS for streets because we have speed limits and hoon laws. Not to mention high running costs and maintenance.

OR

$7k for a sound system so that you can enjoy the journey to your destinations and use ALL the time while driving. Handsfree Calling and Most likely sound deadening to make the ride quieter.

Whats more POINTLESS!

dude how is 7k going to be a "cheap ass kit" you can pick up inline pro kits for just under 4k USD. and how is that making it "pointless" for on road driving? Abit more power would be great. Well alot better then having some torqueless machine. And just to point out to you i was jk with tamay. and a screen in your boot is ****en alot more stupid then a w7 in an s2000.

i guess when other brands of cars thought about making cars 300kw+ didnt really care about "hooning" and made them regardless. Take it to a track for all i care. I didnt say go ****en drag race on the streets.

its not pointless money spent since i can always sell the gear which i got for quite cheap, your talking about a kit that cost 7 k, are you thinking of labour cost, ecu, tuning, and other parts you may need to run? all up for a turbo kit to run properly you need another more 4 k spent or more on top of that 7. i spent 19k on a 2.2 stroker, spec c cams, itbs, ecu and carbon fibre box, oh btw that still needed another 8 k to go for installation an tune. so then again getting a system with no need to worry about is fine to me.

inline pro kits are not 7k. i just think its pointless spending so much money on a system in an s2k. The way the sound is produced is shit house hence why i think other mods are so much better at that price. and you spent 19k on all those mods? or just the stroker? send that shit back if you spent 19k on a stroker.
