I'm sure both of you have the idea. I am however, sick of SRI ricers telling me their intake is better. What you guys have explained makes their argument null and void.

i know its not good for ur engine, i think... but what exactly is it doing?
Hot air takes up more volume, so when your car is breathing air to use as fuel combined with the petrol to cause combustion it doesn't get as high a concentration of oxygen molecules as you would if it was breathing cold air.

Yeah I just came back from Europe where it was super cold as balls and all I could think is 'there are no CRXs here' and 'CAI would rock in Europe' LOL
That's coz you went with the whale pod. Unnecessarily big, but if that's the look you like then you'll have to just custom make a box that can bolt onto the standard box holes with a bottom-end air feed. Shouldn't be too hard
