Hi guys. I am new to the forum so please forgive me for asking any silly question.
I have recently bought a 2002 EP3 and found some problems this morning when i was driving to work.
There was a griding / squeaky sound (dont really know how to decribe it exaclty) when i steer. It only happen during low speed (below 30km/h), mostly when i was parking. I tried keep turning in a constant speed (5km/h) and the disturbing sound keeps going.
I have heard that there is a common issue on EP3s with the steering rack. Will that be the problem in this case?
Also i will try posting a video or a record of that sound tomorrow.
Thanks

steering rack issue, spray wd40 in the steering rack.
in case you don't know what it is, it is something like this:
i have fitted some on my last car and it was very good and i want to get them for the EP3. the link above is made by a UK shop called Tegiwa. i wonder if there are other brands that make these stuff for our cars. (Cusco doesn't make one for the EP3).

How much of a difference did you notice when you had this installed on your last car?
