You are the one that is getting so worked up about it. I don't think anyone here that owns a AUDM DC5R has once said that it is the exact same car as the JDM DC5R. WE have said a few times that they are similar, in that they do have the same interior, chassis etc...

Are you getting this info from the wiki site?

Let me brake it down for you... AGAIN.

The 02-04 AUDM DC5R is made up of the following

    02-04 JDM DC5R Chassis
    02-04 JDM DC5R Exterior
    02-04 JDM DC5R Interior
    02-04 JDM DC5R LSD
    02-04 JDM DC5S engine
    02-04 JDM DC5S suspension
    02-04 JDM DC5S brakes

I think I've said this about 2 times in this thread... and you seem to over look it every time.

The AUDM DC5R is not the same as the USDM RSX-S. Look for some pictures of a interior striped RSX-S, and then of an AUDM DC5R, there are plenty more braces in the AUDM DC5R. It might not mean much, but the AUDM DC5R also came with the stock strut/chassis brace (Which was revised for the AUDM Type S). Look at a pic of an engine bay for a RSX-S, no stock strut/chassis brace.

Like everyone has mentioned, people know and accept that the AUDM DC5R is not the 'real' JDM DC5R.
Why is this even relevant now?
First you continually to assert the point that the AUDM DC5S is far superior to the AUDM DC5R,
now you're moving onto JDM vs AUDM?

In regards to your 'first' main argument of AUDM DC5S > DC5R,
people are entitled to their own opinion. Leave it at that.
I am a DC5S owner and have driven a DC5R. Both have their pros and cons.

What is the relevance of bringing in the video of pre-facelift vs facelift JDM DC5R?
AUDM DC5R and AUDM DC5S is neither of those cars. They may be similar but not identical.
The Facelift JDM DC5R may be further refined and better than the JDM PreFacelift DC5R but that does not translate to the AUDM DC5S being better than the AUDM DC5R.

    What EVLGTR said.
The JDM DC5S is 'similar' to our Base/Luxury DC5

...oh geez correct me if im wrong but I didnt know there was a 2002-2004 JDM DC5 Type-S LOL. I thought the Type-S series for the Integra came in around 05-06

in that case the engine of the JDM DC5S is only 160hp.....surprisingly is what we have in our DC5R you say?

Well sonny Jim, there's only one way to find out a stock 05-06 Aus DC5S vs 02-04 Aus DC5R is to run it on a 1/4 mile. I have the slightest doubt the Aus DC5R would win. Weight doesnt have anything to do with the winning formula as ive mentioned to watch the BMI: Civic Type R Returns........ a heavier FD2 winning it vs. the lighter DC5R (as an example)

Secret is in the gearing ratio of the Aus DC5S and its top-end power
