Pressure is pressure, its the same no matter the size of the wheel you have...........
Whatever it says on your door or manual is what you should be pumping the tyres to for normal everday driving............

    any recommendations on 205/40r16?

    so far ive found:

    >toyo proxes 4 - 160 ea
    >falken fk452 -apparently discontinued so going for real cheap
    >falken ze912
    >falken rt615
    >kumho -not sure which model but going 120ea i think
    >nexen n3000 - 90 ea

im sort of tossing up between proxes 4 and falken for street tyre.. not very keen on kumho as apparently they are budget tyres,

and im sick of random branded tyres and willing to pay more for quality, currently running some random 'zettex' tyres which is fukn hopeless.. 0 grip, shits itself in the wet and noisy as ****

was looking at azenis rt615 but as they are semis apparently they wear out real quick.. so guess ill stick with street tyres for now

any suggestions guys? and whats the deal with discontinued tyres? in terms and warranty etc?

    oh thanks in adv
    naturally i finished my set.

DO IT!!! R1-R's are by far the best street tyres out there (IMO) and am very impressed with their life. On a fairly cambered setup they lasted me roughly 20-25,000 K's. Great in the dry and wet, also good for track. Cant fault em in any way at all, especially at $195 each in 205/50/15. Dnt think anything in that pricerange compares.

Can someone who has tryed Yoko A048 give me a bit of feedback... Are they worth the extra $80-100 a corner over the R888? Was told by a Yoko dealer that their (A048's) life is almost double but wont grip quite as well. Any guys used both?

I am at the moment getting the RT615 for my euro, 225/40/18. For the size, best price for RT615 (which I paid) is $290 a corner. Best price for RE001 is $365. KU36 is $233. I'm expecting RT615 to be more grippy any way.

    Any feed back on KU36?
What are the RT 615 like? How are they in the wet? Would be interested to know as i am looking at them for my FN2R.
