hey guys, i was wondering, has anyone here, thought of, or has de-badged their CU2 and put a red 'H' badge yet?

i've always dreamed of doing it, when i had a silver CL9, just like EUR003 did, it didn't seem like hard work (just needed an EP3 Civic Type R Badge and a Euro R Sports Grille for the Front and a DC5R Badge for Rear).

But now that i got a Black CU2, i was wondering is it possible?
What Size Badges do i Need to replace em, and is it possible to de-badge the silver H badge off the stock Grille on the CU2 (3 Silver Bars Grille)?

If someone gets any info please post it up, or pm me please. And i will experiment and post photos up.

    Thanks Everyone.
    Simon.

lol i thought this would be usefull to someone since there are so many "where can i get mugen for cu2...omfg its so expensive" threads

also i found out the wing is a g8 (the normal accord) mugen wing. they look alike but i know there are slight differences. they told me they are testing it on the cu2 and will get back to me

my mates dad works for honda. he tried to get me some free badges but apparently he said that they didnt have any red ones for cu2. and i know the sizes are a bit different.

that being said we have seen photos of the russian euros with red badges front and back so i have no idea..
in terms of removing them, theyre attatched via tape (so use heatgun) and the antitheft clips. so i think u need to access it by removing the grill and behind the bootlid

hmmm, very tempting to "JDM my CU2" but still not enough information to do it...

need to know which size Red 'H' Badge i need to order in from JDM yard/concept.
"Size" meaning, which red badge will fit on the CU2 eg. (Wild Guess): EP3 Civic Type R Badge (Front) and Integra DC5 Type R Badge (Rear)

don't mean to be selfish or anything, but i'll only do it if someone else does it first, don't wanna waste my money by ordering in the wrong badges..

The Mugen replica is very rare to get. I think no one even make the mugen replica for cu2. Last time the Mugen grill already cost me alot. also you have to cut the original grill to take the mounting out of it... lolz better get PU bodykit. I think it looks alright heheh accept for the rear lips (

    thanks for the link nesterjester.

I noticed that is his other listing, there is a white accord with a horizontal strips like grill, does anyone know who makes this grill? or is it a custom job from the OEM grill?

here is the link : http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI....MakeTrack=true

I think it's just the OEM grill with the middle section cut out and painted.

yes, i think you are right. i got a white Euro myself too, that grill looks great in white, but i do prefer to keep the honda badge, maybe las mentioned in previous replies, if i can fin a red badge to sit in the middle of that custom grill, that will look even better i think... lets do some searching....
